There are many reasons for this, really.
Some by design and some by accident.
The result? We have grown (with more growth coming) and our team and clients are going to need a leader in our office contributing to the client experience journey and development of our office team.
In our company, you need to be able to wear a lot of hats, especially as our Office Manager.
In this role you're the glue that holds it all together, making sure the ethos of Austin Plumbing, Heating & Air can be felt in every interaction.
You'll be the integrator between customer service, marketing, back office ops, and field operations.
You fill in the cracks, roll up your sleeves and jump in where the team and clients need you most on any given day.
Our office supports the two most valuable assets at Austin Plumbing, Heating & Air.
Our team Our clients As the Office Manger, you'll be in charge of making sure both can't get it better anywhere else, plus you'll be involved in:
Delivering our world class customer experience journey to clients through inbound and outbound calls, as well as written communications and follow ups.
The day-to-day management of client care reps and office team The hands-on support of all key business functions Recruiting, training & onboarding office team members as we grow Managing our maintenance club membership Working hand-in-hand with our dispatchers Light HR related matters Marketing and client facing communications Developing, documenting, implementing and training on new SOPs as we grow You'll also be working side-by-side with me and the other managers here at Austin who are passionate about our team, our company, and carrying on the 80
year tradition of serving others through craftsmanship and outstanding customer service.
In order to excel in this role, fit in, and impact our team in a positive way, you'll need to be:
A go-getter- someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasking and have great project management skills Drama free, consistent, reliable and a team player A black belt in cat wrangling, should wrangling cats (or tigers) become necessary Highly proficient in one of the following at a minimum- sales, management, accounting/bookkeeping, marketing, or HR A natural problem solver and problem preventer Skilled in written and verbal communication for internal and external documents and communications Skilled in the use of and support of technology commonly used in today's business environments such as Microsoft 365 Suite, social media platforms, etc.
Able to create, standardize and maintain company protocols and standard operating procedures Looking for a career, not a job.
The average length of employment at Austin is over 12 years.
That doesn't happen by accident by either party! Compensation- I would hate for you to apply (or not apply) based on an arbitrary salary range.
For now, let's be concerned with making sure this is the right fit for both of us, because if that ends up being the case, the money part will be easy.
Timeline- This is a strategic addition to our management team so we're ready to bring the right person on ASAP, and we're also prepared for a reasonable transition as you close one chapter and start your new one here at Austin.
Next Steps- Please send over your resume and contact information and keep an eye on your inbox.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
