The Technology Assistant is responsible for overseeing the operation of the computer networks and devices, providing consulting/technical support to Lake Country School District Technology users, and serving as a district resource on all technology operations.
QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of Windows server software and environment, Active Directory and Google Workspace for Education Support a 1:
1 student computer environment Ability to work with others in a team environment Ability to follow work rules and procedures Ability to accept constructive criticism Ability to work with children and adults with sensitivity and understanding Ability to use mature judgment Display flexibility, initiative and the ability to problem solve KEY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Oversees the operations of the computing devices Assists certified teachers and library media specialist with computer applications for instruction of children Assists in the set-up of equipment Assists district with troubleshooting the network, software and hardware issues throughout the building Maintains and repairs network, servers, desktops and Chromebooks Installs and updates all software Maintains backups and manages archives Manages and troubleshoots surveillance cameras Maintains hardware and software inventory Manages internet and filters Participates in appropriate district activities involving technology Participates in districts' technology committee All other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
