JOB PURPOSE:
The Coat Check Attendant is responsible for the temporary storage of personal items ensuring a timely return while interacting with members and guests in a warm and inviting manner.
Aids with other needs and directions as required creating a truly individualized experience for all who enter the location.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Welcomes and directs guests as necessary upon entry to the property.
Assists guests with taking off coats as necessary to be stored.
Stores coats and guest belongings in an orderly fashion with the appropriate system providing corresponding information to the guest.
Returns items to guests in a timely manner while following the appropriate system to ensure proper items returned to proper guest.
Assist guest in coats as needed/appropriate.
Treats each person, guest, or associate as an individual and in a professional manner.
Thorough understanding of our check system upon inquiry.
Assist and secure lost & found items as needed in an orderly manner.
Have general familiarity of the property and the appropriate leaders to direct inquiries to the correct areas.
Provide a courteous thank you to departing guests hoping to see them again soon.
All Other Duties as Assigned Requirements:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Highly organized and self-directed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A heart for hospitality and anticipation of guests needs.
Professionalism in interactions with guests and EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
At least 1 year experience customer service preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
Frequently required to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift or carry twenty-five pounds.
